Kevin is a State–Certified General Contractor. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from East Carolina University, Master Certificates in Concrete Repair, Certification from the Paint Quality Institute, Certification in Window Installation and Glazing from multiple manufacturers of hurricane impact-glass companies. Kevin has been a resident of Fort Myers, Florida since 1983.
Kevin first began his relationship with R.L. James, Inc during his 21-year career as a representative of a regional paint manufacturer, Flex Bon Paints (which is now a part of the Sherwin-Williams Company). Kevin gained a wealth of experience working his way all the way up from the production line to sales, and ultimately Director of Operations.
Kevin has known Bob James since he first started his company in 1988. Kevin joined the R.L. James team in January of 2004 as Regional Representative and shortly thereafter took on the role of Director of Sales and Administration, and then Vice President. Kevin remains involved with project estimating and management. Having been involved with literally hundreds of projects and numerous contractors over the years, he truly enjoys the details of technical specifications, troubleshooting, and client interaction.
