Operations Manager - Mark A. Boss

Mark’s early work experience learning residential painting started in Florida then on to North Carolina. Mark came back to Florida in 1979 and joined a growing painting and waterproofing company as a Field Technician and soon promoted to Foreman. As the company expanded into high rise coatings and sealants he was promoted to Superintendent.

Mark’s personal conversion and belief in God lead him into Mercy Mission work through his church from 1984 -1986. Upon return to his prior company, Mark quickly took on new responsibilities in management as Project Manager and then concentrated on employee skills and safety training. He developed a traveling training program that combined OSHA safety and technical skills training to support the growth and development of the company now venturing into restoration and concrete repair.

In 2002, that company was purchased by a larger national company and Mark was asked to help with re-structuring as Operations Manager. Achieving record efficiency/production margins and revenue growth for several years in this role proved very rewarding and educational.

With new opportunities and mutual vision that materialized by what seemed like more than chance, Mark and Bob James rekindled a working relationship that started in 1980 and in 2010 Mark joined the team at RL James as Operations Manager.
